I've noticed a trend in the fashion industry where brands are increasingly adopting the DROP model to connect with their customers and reduce waste. This approach inspired me to bring a similar concept to the world of ceramics.
Imagine a world where instead of being bombarded with endless options, you're presented with a carefully curated selection of handmade pieces, each with its own story. That's the idea behind the OBAstudios DROP Collection.
Every month or so we'll release a limited edition collection of everyday objects inspired by the colours, textures and stories that surround us. Sometimes it's a new colour of an 'old' product, sometimes it's a whole new line of products that are launched with the DROP. These pieces will be unique, made with love and attention to detail in my studio in Kreuzberg.
By offering smaller, more focused collections, we can reduce waste and ensure that each piece created is truly desired. It's also a way for me to experiment with new ideas and get direct feedback from you!
