OBAstudios was born out of the desire to create everyday objects that are more than just practical.
Our products combine aesthetics and functionality to make daily life a little more beautiful. Inspired by the small challenges of everyday life, we design pieces that seamlessly merge art and utility. What matters to us is that our products not only look good, but also bring lasting joy and are made responsibly.
OBAstudios was founded in 2018 as a partnership (GbR) by Barbara Jenner and Birgit Ostermeier, who stepped down in 2022 for family reasons. Since then, Barbara Jenner has been running the studio successfully on her own. Her passion for finding simple solutions to everyday problems, along with her sensitivity for materials and craftsmanship, have shaped OBAstudios into what it is today.
